Objectives:

  • Identify the political positions of each president since 1960.
  • Analyze how they impacted political history through the influence of economic, social and environmental issues.
  • Analyze the ideas and elements behind the Watergate Scandal.

Activities:

  1. Take #13 Nixon Quiz
  2. Activities Due Today!!!
    • To score a 2:  #11 Nixon and Watergate notes, the #12 VOC Ch 24 Sec 1-2 AND #13 Nixon Quiz.
    • To score a 3:  GR:  All the President’s Men Quiz
    • To score a 4:  Disillusionment with the Presidency Discussion.

Advisory

  1. Announcements/Regarding 4/20:
    • Will be marked with an unexcused absence unless a parent/guardian has given prior permission through our regular absence reporting process.
    • Will not be able to participate in after-school and/or evening activities that day.
    • Will need to arrange their own activities for the rest of the day and their own way home (parents/guardians may come to school at 10 a.m.—the beginning of the walkout– to pick up their child, if they wish). Students who leave the building will not be able to access school transportation at the end of the school day.

  • Analyze at 20th century war based on its causes, practices and effect based on just war theories.
